5 for 500 Membership Campaign

In an effort to expedite the purchase of the VDBC new dual lane timing system and countdown clock, the club has come up with a plan to instantly increase cash flow by offering members to pay a 5 year, $500 membership fee up front. This will ensure the club has the sufficient funds to cover the cost of the equipment, quoted to be around $20,000 plus, Australian dollars.

The VDBC committee has allocated $10,000 from funds in our bank account but this is well short of the expected cost. We have already received $5,500 in 5 year memberships from generous club members however the VDBC still needs another $5,000 plus to assist in purchasing the system.

The club would like to acknowledge the following members who have put their money where their mouths are and have contributed the $500.00. Steve Baird, Rowan Crundwell, Michael & Gail Waghorne, Rowan & Jenny White, Gary & Kathy James, Chris & Jacqui Buhagiar, Chris Hunt, Mick Trewin, Jim & Suzanne Tripp, Simon & Amanda Davidson and Paul & Caz Colgan.  Thanks to Andrew Cooke for donating $100 recently as well! Thank you all so much for your generosity and the club looks forward to adding plenty more names to this growing list.
